Why is it called artisanal?
Unlike other producers who use autoclave methods that sacrifice flavor for mass production, at Tequila Monte Imperio we use masonry ovens. This allows the baked agave to develop a sweeter and more complex flavor
In addition we use stone mills (tahona de piedra) to grind the agave, allowing it to release its juices more slowly and precisely, resulting in a more robust and herbal flavor profile
For fermentation, we use copper stills that eliminate unwanted impurities. This type of production is more time-consuming, but these methods result in a premium tequila with a superior appearance and taste

The most unique and smooth tequila, which undergoes aging and activated carbon filtration, giving it a crystalline appearance but with the DNA of a tequila aged for months in barrels, resulting in a unique and smooth flavor

REPOSADO
Balance between aging and freshness
As its name suggests, the tequila reposado rests in oak barrels for months, giving it that characteristic yellowish color and a unique flavor with light hints of smoky wood and vanilla

BLANCO
Freshness in every sip
Tequila in its purest form, unaged in barrels, also known as silver, is bottled directly after distillation, allowing the purest and freshest flavor of the agave to prevail
