Soul of Añejo, freshness of Blanco

Cristalino tequila is a reinterpretation of añejo or extra añejo tequilas. After maturing in oak barrels for months, it undergoes a filtration process (usually with activated charcoal). This removes the amber color and softens the bitter notes of the wood, resulting in a clear, silky liquid that retains the complexity of aging and the freshness of a blanco tequila.

Handcrafted method

We’re no longer talking about an industrially produced tequila designed merely to be smooth, but a true liquid work of art. It’s the ultimate fusion of absolute respect for the agave’s origin and the sophistication of high filtration

Brick oven

Steaming the agave hearts for 48 to 72 hours in traditional brick ovens allows the sugars to caramelize deeply and naturally. This imparts rich notes of cooked pumpkin, agave honey, and a smoky sweetness that subsequent filtration fails to erase

TAHONA (stone mill)

The enormous volcanic stone wheel squeezes the agave without violently crushing the fibers; this prevents bitter oils from passing into the distillate, ensuring that the tequila retains a silky texture and a strong presence of minerals and damp earth

Luxury in a bottle

For the discerning connoisseur: it offers the purity, mysticism, and romance of Jalisco’s oldest artisanal process, but dressed in the elegance, visual clarity, and contemporary sophistication demanded by the most exclusive bars and consumers

-Monte Imperio prioritizes a premium artisanal tequila that stands out for its flavor and aroma before creating mass-produced tequila, in order to preserve a profile for those who know what they want-
